The Middle is about REACHING middle school students to IGNITE and ENCOURAGE their faith, while BUILDING relationships and AFFIRMING their identity in Christ.

 

REACH: We reach middle school students by providing weekly programs and periodic events that provide a fun and safe atmosphere to connect with their peers and be mentored by caring high school leaders and adults.

 

IGNITE and ENCOURAGE: We understand that middle school students are undergoing tremendous change developmentally during this time of their life. In order to help ignite their faith we chose topics that will help them uncover what it means to be a Christian in a secular world, navigate through the world of middle school, and tackle some of the questions that they may have.

 

BUILD: We strongly believe in relational ministry. We believe that caring adults + middle school students = a very good thing. It is through relationships that students will be able to see Christ in the example of others.

 

AFFIRM: It is our goal to make sure that every student knows that they are loved and forgiven by the one true God.
