FUMC Cancer Support Group Meeting

Second Tuesday of every Month

For those of you who are new to our church and those wanting to know more, here is some information about our Cancer Support Group.

This group is for men and women who have had experiences with any type of cancer, as well those who are caregivers and volunteers for cancer patients. This group focuses on the family as a whole, because everyone feels the pain that their loved one is going through.

This group meets the Second Tuesday of each month at 927 7th Street (the Agape house). Please come and give us a chance to help you through difficult times.

What do we live for, if not to make the world less difficult for each other?

There are volunteer opportunities which include:

Assisting at meetings and overseeing meetings when the facilitator is not available to attend
Writing newspaper articles about the group's activities for publication in the FUMC newsletter, website and local newspapers
Assist in organizing group events and outings
Create Cancer Support and Foundation website
Write grants for Greater Clermont Cancer Foundation
Call to remind about CSG meeting night and program
Assist group members who need in home help
Update our directory as needed
