UMCOR - Emergency Response Team

 

The Emergency Response Team will provide assistance to FUMC-Clermont, its members and the community in the event of a disaster. The team is part of the Florida Conference Early Response Team functioning under the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR).

 

Volunteers may be asked to help with debris removal and temporary repairs, observe survivors' needs and report them to UMVIM and help with the healing process. Most importantly, volunteers provide a Christian presence. Team members participate in mandatory training and act as a support system to those people whose family is not nearby.
