Emmaus

The Walk to Emmaus is a spiritual renewal program intended to strengthen the local church through the development of Christian disciples and leaders. The program's approach seriously considers the model of Christ's servanthood and encourages Christ's disciples to act in ways appropriate to being "a servant of all."

NEXT SOUTH LAKE EMMAUS GATHERING  will be Sunday APRIL 29  Social Hall with a covered dish at 12:30.  We will welcome  our January and March babe chicks and hear their 4th day talks!

Next Walks are March 15th-18th Men's #137  and March 22nd-25th Women's #137.  Sponsors need to get pilgrims informatin in as soon as possible. Make plans for both walks kick off, candlelight and closing services!

Don't forget that dues are $10.00 per year and can be made payable to the church (FUMC). Dues help us pay for scholarships to send pilgrims on walks and to help with workers for walks. Also postage and etc. as needed.  Give dues to Candy Ogden, in the church office. Make sure memo on check says Emmaus dues for proper credit.
