Endowment

 

With the realization lately that I might not be immortal, I have a concern about my life having been worthwhile.  Was I a productive member of society?  Was I a good steward of my time, talents and resources?

 

This concern was alleviated when I realized this is one purpose of the Endowment Fund at FUMC.  Already in the Fund’s 20 plus years of existence, it has assisted hundreds of people* in many mission programs.

 

I have made provisions in my will that a portion of my estate be contributed to this Endowment Fund.  I actually feel elated knowing that after I am gone a portion of me will still be helping the Kingdom of God advance.
