METS! Meetin' Eatin' Travelin' Seniors   AND NOW Meetin' Eatin' Travelin' Servants!!!!

We meet on the last Friday of each month, unless otherwise noted. Usually traveling to local restaurants, museums, shows, shopping and wherever we can find fun, METS is one our newest minsitries for Older Adults. Occasionally we just stay at the church and eat a great meal and play games or just enjoy each other's company or a great speaker. We also plan extended trips throughout the year. So if you like eating good food, traveling to cool locations and meeting other senior adults.....METS is for you!

Friday, February 3rd 11:00 in the Social Hall. Covered Dish Luncheon with program "Little Known Historical Facts with Ibbie". Bring a covered dish with enough to share!

Friday, February 24th Trip to Wycliffe in Orlando. Wycliffe Discovery Center offers you an opportunity to see th eworld and the Word in a whole new way. Tour and bus is just $10.00 Reservations needed. Lunch is available for purchase at the Center as well as a gift shop.

March 2nd and 3rd Tapestry IV Conference 21st Challenges for Boomers and Beyond. $40.00 includes lunch on Saturday and all programming. Registration required.

Friday,April 27th The Festival of Chocolate in Orlando at the UCF Arena. The Ultimate in all chocolate shopping, interactive classes and educational exibitions. $13.50 for the Festival and $3.00 per person for transportation. 1:00 -7:00 PM.

Saturday, May 12th 8:00 AM -4:00 PM The Ft. Christmas Old Timers Day 65+ Free! Bluegrass and Gospel Music, Arts, Entertainment and great food! $3.00 per person for transportation.
